DOUGLAS L. VAN CAMP

Doug Van Camp retired at the end of 2020 after years of representing clients throughout the state.  He began his own firm in 2006 after working for the firm of Hendren and Andrae in Jefferson City, Missouri, for 25 years. After primarily serving as a defense attorney for most of his career, Doug decided he wanted to use his experience and reputation for aggressive perseverance to help those in crisis. His practice was devoted 100% to handling workers’ compensation.

Doug had extensive trial experience in the workers’ compensation arena involving not only routine hearings to determine the nature and extent of permanent partial disability or permanent total disability, but also has been involved in what he believes to be one of the most extensive hearings in the State of Missouri (Light v. J.C. Industries), one which resulted in a favorable award for his client. He also had extensive litigation experience in the civil trial court system. He also argued numerous cases before the State’s Labor and Industrial Relations Commission and appellate courts.
